Day 36, Summer 8: Mayo & Radishes

It was a long day of farming today. The first thing in the new routine is going to be getting the eggs processing in the mayo machine. I moved it over between the crops and the coop for easier access.

Starting tomorrow I should be getting four eggs a day. It’s going to be worthwhile to get a second machine so I won’t have to keep coming home throughout the day to put in the next egg.

I had a harvest of wheat and radishes. I spent some time making basic fertilizer and then replanted using half of the summer seeds.

By the time I got done watering it was 2:30 in the afternoon. I donated the rare disc at the museum and thought about what to do with the rest of the day.

I figured I had enough time to reach level 30 in the mine. I took another slime-slaying quest off the bulletin board and reached the mine at 5:20.

At one point I thought I was stuck behind a large boulder and couldn’t progress because I hadn’t upgraded the pick yet.

I tried a few swings just in case and it turns out I can break these after all. Maybe it’s based on the Mining skill?

It’s so fun breaking these crates & barrels

The only loot besides ore was a couple amethysts and another copy of Dwarf Scroll I. It has only a 1g sell price, so I don’t know if it has any use elsewhere. I held onto it just in case.

Started to panic a bit when I saw it was 11:30 and I was still on floor 29 and couldn’t find the stairs. Thankfully they appeared after breaking just a few random rocks, and I was able to unlock the next elevator and rush home, getting to bed at 12:30
